Reproduction US M1941 Field Jacket. These jackets were originally
introduced in 1940 and soon became standard issue for all soldiers until
the end of WWII.
Our jackets are made of a
lightweight Olive Drab (OD) 100% cotton poplin fabric with a thin wool
inner liner. The jacket closes using a chromed Talon zipper and is
covered by a flap secured with 5 brown buttons. Around the waist on each
side of the jacket is an adjustable tab for tightening the mid section.
The collar has a button and tab neck closure so that it can be worn open
or fastened up and the shoulders have button down epaulets. Each sleeve
is complete with adjustable cuffs.
Sizing:
These jackets are just like the originals and are meant to be a loose
fitting combat jacket. You should order your normal size if you want the
jacket to be more fitted order a size smaller.
