There various 101st Airborne Division's patches during
WWII. This is just about identical to the standard issue patch, however one manufacturer
made the eagles with white tongues rather than red. Whether this was an
accident or intentional is unknown either way these were issued and
worn. Originals are difficult to find and very expensive.
