      Reproduction Kriegsmarine U-boat badge with diamonds. These are dye-struck badges with wide pins, maker mark and simulated diamonds.

      Instituted in 1941. This was not an official war decoration it was more a token of gratitude for those who were awarded the Knights Cross with Oak Leaves.

      Approximately only 30 of these were awarded, Admiral Karl Donitz being one of the recipients. However Donitz version slightly differed from the ones that were give to other recipients, having diamonds not only on the swastika but on the wreath as well.
