Reproduction WWII German Butter Dish or "Fettdose". Originals
were made of bakelite and came in various colors. These
repros are made of plastic. The plastic is a bit stronger
than the original bakelite construction and much safer to
use for food. The threads are spaced like the originals and
it takes about 1/4 turn to close or open them.
