To commemorate the return of the Memel area to Germany,
Hitler authorized the "Return of Memel Commemorative Medal"
on May 1, 1939. Awarded for meritorious service in the
return of the Memel area to Germany. A very nicely detailed dye-struck medal with the proper
length of ribbon.
